Lee Building Company partnered with Grymes Memorial School in Orange, Virginia to construct their new Athletic Center and repurpose their old gymnasium for their Arts Center. Our team was brought on board early in the design phase to allow our preconstruction team to help value engineer the project to get the best value. In addition, our preconstruction team  schedules and logistics, working closely with the design team to maximize the cost savings, time-savings, and overall success of the project. In addition, our Preconstruction team has assisted the school and design team on preliminary schedules and logistics plans to efficiently meet their schedule and minimize the impact on students during the construction process.

The Arts & Athletic center is the Phase 1 of a multi-phase expansion plan at Grymes Memorial School. Currently, Phase 2 will include the development of a Reading/Science/Technology Center, while the Phase 3 will include a renovation and reconfiguration of existing classrooms.
